The pavilion reflects a blending of timber frame styles and traditions but has its own contemporary flair.
This building was built with volunteer labor by the members of the Timber Framers Guild
The Crew
Pictured are the crew and guild leadership responsible for this project. Volunteers from Two Dog Timberworks cut the rafters.
** All the rest was done on site in six days **
The gentleman on the farthest left is Makato Imai who taught several of the lead carpenters years previously and many miles away. Makato had not worked directly on the building but showed up on site unexpectedly on the last day.
A lot of magic in this little building.
